Travel Bursary for Librarians and Library Staff - Application Instructions

Description

The 2023 University of Toronto TDM in Libraries Colloquium seeks to invite librarians and library staff who can improve the diversity of voices represented at the event and who would otherwise not be able to attend to submit an application for a travel bursary. Up to $1200 CAD will be awarded with each bursary. Potential attendees seeking to submit an application should review the below criteria and application guidelines before proceeding.

Criteria

• Applicant should have an active interest in text and data mining services in libraries or relevant experience with TDM-related work in an academic library context
• Applicants should be in a position to assume the potential additional costs of attending the conference beyond the up to $1200 CAD awarded

Application

Interested applicants should provide the below information via email and return it to mdl@library.utoronto.ca by March 1st, 2023. Questions about the bursary can also be sent to mdl@library.utoronto.ca. The two bursaries available will be awarded by March 17th.
