2. Beginning Work

In order to begin making visualizations, you must import a dataset into Tableau (such as an Excel spreadsheet) or select a sample dataset from Tableau (such as those located in the bottom left of the page as you open Tableau). For the purposes of this guide, you may download the datasets we will be using for this tutorial in a .Zip file here. You will need to extract the files from the zipped folder using a software such as 7-Zip.
