Activity 1

Okay, let’s break here for our first activity.

Remember that between each step in this activity, you may need to reset your activations.

1. Bring up Retrieved Segments for segments coded as Upgrades where the interview has 16-20 years of experience. (When activating documents by variable, click on the red X icon at the top of the conditions column to clear the list and start fresh).
2. Create a horizontal bar graph visualizing interview documents by size of team and export it.
3. Create a Crosstab with the experience variables along the top. Again, you should clear the Columns list before proceeding by clicking on the red x at the top. (Quick tip, instead of having to choose each value for a variable, you can check the option that says Insert all variable values as conditions). Change it to calculate row percentages and turn on cell shading. Export it as an Excel spreadsheet.
4. From the Crosstab, go directly to the Segment Matrix. Explore the matrix and then export it as a Word document.
